Hello, my name is Portia Boachie and I am a female carer with extensive experience in providing personalized care for individuals dealing with various health conditions. I have had the privilege of working with individuals who have Mild Cognitive Impairment, are bedbound, have Parkinson's Disease, as well as those who struggle with anxiety and depression.
Although I cannot drive and do not have a car, I pride myself on my exceptional skills in assisting with tasks such as bathing, toileting, dressing, catheter care, and providing the companionship that is often much needed. My goal as a carer is to ensure that each person I care for can lead as independent a life as possible, with dignity and respect.
Outside of my carer duties, I enjoy engaging in activities such as walking, socializing, watching TV, and listening to music. I find these hobbies help me maintain a healthy work-life balance and bring joy and positivity into my life. Additionally, I have a fondness for cats and would love to work with clients who have feline companions.
Caring, friendly, and helpful are attributes that have defined my career as a carer. I am passionate about helping people and making a positive impact in their lives. It brings me immense satisfaction to see my clients happy, comfortable, and thriving with the support I provide.
